He wouldn’t be giving up much. I guess the back up role. Don’t know if u remember but he de-commuted from Georgia because he wasn’t goin to get to play. He wants to be the star, if he thinks for some reason he can’t be the star here why would it be any different? If you have the negative bug in your ear all day it doesn’t end pretty. I hope he stays but we fine either way long as we don’t lose Offensive line talent lol

Carter didn’t go to Georgia simply because they had no room. Chubb and the other RB returned when they thought both would leave

I mentioned Ta’zhawn Henry has heard from the staff some as a slot. He’d be a good way to sneak in a player who can also give you carries if you need him to.

But if your elite they’d make room.... we had 4 RB on the roster this year so I guess I’m confused a little. They came back, he wasn’t going to get to play.  He bolted. Maybe with there help yes. Then he comes to Texas, obviously talks to family about his playing time etc because the tweets came out. He wants to go somewhere and play, no compete. Is that wrong to say?

Let's not be nitpicky, Carter was considered our best back and had emerged as at least a co-starter until Young broke out a few games ago.
