I would take any and all JUCO linemen that could come in and immediately start. Doesn't matter if it's 1 or 5, that's how many I take.

Yes, we need more guys. Grandy will be able to enroll for next semester, but Jahmir Johnson is a May enrollee. If Elbert can come in like Grandy, then we should go for him.

I just spent a season watching the worst OL at UT since I became a fan (late 1970s).

Brewster and Co in agland will make our rebuilding very challenging. Not to mention our sub .500 record for 4 LONG years straight.
Herman has done a hell of job in recruiting this year but that could all change very quickly before signing day.

Bring the bank would be worth it just to keep him from the aggies.
Maybe he could be Assistant to the Assistant Head Coach Stan Drayton but I dont want him being OC or a playcaller. Just head recruiter is good enough.
It will be a bad day if he goes to ags.

I agree with you on this one. Not as the OC, but just bring him here at any cost. Co-Recruting coordinator/ Victory formation coach or something like that works for me.

I have read on another site that UT was going to try and get him. I guess whoever pays the most gets him. I believe everyone realizes how important he is to recruiting.

Herman and staff, including AD, need to push the envelope from now to signing day on coaching and recruiting. The Sumlim Sleeper is over. Perceptions count. This was not a good year to go 6-6. Herman and the AD need to demonstrate what they have aimed to teach the players about effort and accountability. I'd say it's a sense of urgency at every layer. TCU plays for the Conf Title tomorrow, OU likely in the title game, and Aggie will give the perception they are challenging in the SEC West.
