I am convinced that today's marketing folks have no idea how to make a commercial without stealing from the 80s or 90s music charts. Especially the pharma folks. They butchered a great Fleetwood Mac song recently. I wish bad things for them. lol

I heard a remake of "Bad Company" the other day, really pissed me off the way it was butchered. Remakes are hit or miss today.

Seems to be conflicting information out on DaShaun White and potential visit to Texas. As of now he isn’t locked in to visit Texas and a trip to A&M could be a possibility after not making it down last week.

247 is now saying that after talking to his mom he will take a visit to Texas. Maybe momma Hobbs got in momma Whites ear. Should've offered White in the summer and this wouldn't be a problem.

OU and A&M both were trying hard to get him up for a visit this week. OU wanted to lock it up after a productive official and A&M is trying to hang on to him.

I don’t hear much about potential OL for this class.  Might someone with the time and inclination give me a list of OL names we are still in on for 2017?

The 2 OT per 247 that we are “warm” on are Junior Angilau (whom we have 66% chance to land from Utah) 

and Badara Traore of NY who is 100% LSU.... kinda depressing seeing that

BUT we do already have Reese Moore and Rafiti Ghirmai

I think we have a chance to be pretty good next year, hopefully Rodriguez comes back and Hudson gets healthy. Maybe a Juco or two. I think the big OL year for UT will be 2019 that class is loaded with big time prospects.

some are saying now that LSU is making a big push for Jay Green , we have got to hold  them off and continue the trend of Texas guys staying in stats

Also, you guys need to go easy on Beck, that's part of why there's an issue in our program right now , stop firing coaches every year, then maybe you'll start to see some consistency and progress. Hell this fan base would've fired Matt Campbell after year one

I disagree to all this, which is okay cuz it’s a discussion board and why we are here.... we are a fan base that wants to see results. It’s the University of Texas. When you hype up a program all summer you can’t just say after the first game “what did you expect, can’t sprinkle fairy dust” people can say what they wants but the hype was real at UT and Orlando has filled his obligation. I will agree don’t “fire” Beck, there’s a lot of blame on his line and what he has to work with. But to say fans need to back off I just can’t agree with. The day fans quit wanting excellence is the day UT will be the Kansas of the world. 

Ps. I do agree thought “next” year could be the year. But then again I drank that kool-aid 5 months ago. I’ll drink more  B)

Unless there is a lot of attrition there is not enough room for both, Lots of atrition is one of the problems now affectng depth.

I agree but lord willing next year there won’t be the injuries. Beck will be back on a medical hardship, Connor Williams will be back  and others. Plus the experience some folks have got this year. It’ll be a different ball club next year, although I don’t want to wait. Hopefully have a chance to redshirt a couple guys

The same names that have been mentioned around here before. The staff is working on guys like Angilau, Wire, and Traore. Angilau will likely visit again. Wire may visit too, but that will be a tough flip. Most think LSU leads for Traore. 

OL Recruiting has been quiet because the staff is evaluating their options far and wide due to the lack of overall talent in state.
