I am laughing. I wont even bother to respond to this. You are better than that.
Yea we sucked so bad we were top 20 in 2013 in total defense. Carry on.
You act as if Malik is going to be inspired by me or you. Mike has already said Malik is gone according to a close source. You act like I want him to leave, which is f##king ridiculous. You act like Cook doesnt care if we lose when he has ALREADY said it will depend on how we play. Does that mean close losses are ok? I hope so. You dont know and neither do I but you have your opinions and I have mine.
1. I will carry on. You have to sometimes when someone doesn't get the point. So they must be beaten with the point.
A. We expected to beat BYU. We gave up 40, lost, and made their QB All-World in the process. We couldn't stop a cold.
B. Got beaten like we'd stole something by Ole Miss, where we gave up 44 at home to a crowd who were convinced we couldn't stop a cold.
C. Gave up 30 to Iowa State (beat them by 1). That was before it was cool to be Iowa State.
D. Gave up another 40 to West Virginia (notice how we're working down the schedule here? So there are no freak games)
E. Gave up 38 to OSU in another humiliating loss at home.
F. Finished the season by stinking up the place giving up 30 to both Baylor and Oregon in losses.
So, lets just say "Top 20" doesn't mean what you think it means.
2. No, I don't act like Malik is inspired by me or you. By contrast, I have been trying to convince you that he doesn't think the same things you do. I even pointed out the flaw in your thinking. And each time I end by saying he goes because he's the best there is.
How you get to me "wishing him to the NFL" is beyond me. You worked hard to get there. Take a well deserved rest.
What you've been attempting to suggest, again and again, which is what I am rejecting (to be clear) when I say he goes because he's the best, not because his feelings are somehow hurt by an offense undergoing major injury issues.
3. By contrast, I CONFIRM what Cook has said about wanting to see us play well. Do you honestly think that ONLY applies to Texas? Is that where you're going? Otherwise, my point is – LSU isn't smelling so sweet herself and actually, has probably stunk worse than Texas this year. Does anyone in their right mind want to play in that offense? That's not an injury issue – thats a "we suck at scheme and play calling, forever" issue. Outside of Fortanueu or whatever his name was (which was basically turn, hand the ball off, hope he scores), what offense has LSU ever had?
And why are we discussing offense when we're talking about Cook? Lets face it – we have to be because our defense is, as you say, playing "lights out." If that is true – then why aren't you harping about it being a done deal to Texas?
LSU's defense got punked by Troy, at home, favored by 20+
