EJ simply made an observation about how Justin Rogers performed well against a 7 on 7 team stacked in the secondary. Several guys from that 7 on 7 on 7 team (Fast 7v7) have gotten into their feelings about the observation.

I'm with you on this one sho. If the Georgia db commits it could throw a potentially nasty curve in the db recruiting. Knowing the targeted # helps to make some sense of the whole thing.

Don't think the Georgia DB comes here. I think EJ's reasoning behind the pick was he wasn't sure if Dean is a take for Georgia but a Georgia mod said he's a take and doesn't see him at Texas. I'd be just fine if Jamison and Green pull the trigger before Dean commits.

Exactly. If anything we need big bodies from both OL and DL

From what we understand, Texas would take his commitment. Though this could be a ploy to see if another DB decides to get in the boat before Dean.

Just a sidenote to this and not to get off subject here but I saw on another site that Connor Williams wasn't even ranked as the best college OL in Texas by Dave Campbell Texas Football Magazine. Supposedly they ranked Koda Martin from a&m as the best. Did anyone on here see that?
