Yep, aggy is pushing Jackson. We need to counter more.

Agree on Carson, but Frost is a very good closer. Should be interesting.

If we add Jackson, Waddle, Ossai and White, . . . we're starting to get into nose bleed altitude with regard to best UT class ever. This one could be it.

That said – it really deserves its own thread. What are we up against? The Simms class?

That Simm's class was a mess!!!  And is actually responsible for the turnaround on the 40.  I mean national offensive (Simms) AND defensive (Redding) players of the year???  Idk if that can be duplicated...

Just read that Angilau is leaning towards coming to school. He cited early playing time and that he could get involved with the missionary work in Austin. He would take he missionary trip later with his spouse

I love this list and hope it plays out. I gotta add a couple DL in that mix, but not sure who at this point.

Still love me some Vernon Jackson. The kid from Louisiana is much like Jackson. Those two would tickle me. Throw in Carson is you want to.

About half that class never did a thing on the 40.

Jason Barron, Antonio Moore, Tillman Holloway, Gerald Hanson, Tyrone Richardson, Ryan Haywood, Artie Ellis, Reed Boyd, Alfio Randall, Matt Trissell and Shane Hudnall.

Lots of 3-stars in that class. I think we only have one, not counting the kicker. Both classes had a kicker in it, so thats a wash.

The productive members of that 99 class were Marcus Tubbs, Chris Simms, Cory Redding, OJ McClintock, Ivan Williams, Cole Pittman, Dakari Pearson, Derrick Dockery, Robbie Doane, Kenny Hayter and Rod Babers.

Probably locks up Osaai to ags... There are other factors with White so it could go either way at this point.

It will make aggy tough to beat. Elko already has a relationship with Ossai, was recruiting him for ND.

We're still in it, but it will be tougher now to pull him from aggy..

I think about 5 games into the season if Orlando's defense is still performing at a high level, the administration should just money whip him into staying. I know he wants to be a head coach, but 2 mil a year or so may make him get comfy in Austin for a while.
