I remember hearing he was super upset leaving Junior Days without an offer.

Timing is definitely a little odd. Why offer now instead of then and avoid that issue?

What are your thoughts on how the QB recruiting in general has played out under Coach Herman?

I like that they are being aggressive and casting a wide net nationally. The in-state crop of QBs isn't very strong so they are looking far and wide instead of settling.

I feel like they could have a guy like Casey a Thompson in the boat already if they pressed, but they are taking their time so I'm curious to how their big board looks right now and what kind of feedback they are getting from their targets.

the staff is playing it cool.....have to give them that. They act like we have already signed 5* players at every position they wanted.....hell, maybe they have, but I aint seed nothin' yet....

Oh he was definitely upset about not getting offered. Time will tell if that can be smoothed over or not.

He plead not guilty to the charges and is hoping to get off with a misdemeanor. If that ends up being the case he could still make it to campus depending on what Herman opts to do.

Daniel, any recruits coming in this upcoming week for the Texas Relays and if so are the coaches allowed to meet with them?

I feel like that would be a huge recruiting plus for the Horns.

Not sure just yet what guys will be coming to Austin, but I anticipate there will be some as there is every year. Yes the coaches are allowed to meet with kids that come into town for the relays.
