Hopefully depth is such that true Freshman are not always expected to come right in and play. We shouldn't have to take lumps with either of these kids toting the ball before they are ready at the college level.

Coach Meekins, the new tight ends coach at Texas texted me and told me to give him a
call and he was telling me about how they think I’m their guy and I can come in a play
early. They’re looking for a guy to split out not just be a traditional tight end and I think
I fit that role well. The previous staff was going to offer me right before they left but
they didn't want to not knowing if they were going to be there or not."

Has there been any updates on Sheffield or Manning? I still think Sheffield is not going to happen, but the chatter on him and Texas is out there (although not from anyone from the Texas side). I would be happy with only 6 more commits and save the scholarships for 18.

So is the TE recruitment in the same position as the RB position was in terms of first to commit is in or is it a possibility to take 3 TEs in this class? Don't know that they will all commit, but wondering if Herman would take them all?

I haven't seen anything solid on any UT sites, so hammy is proposing that mods from across all sites are in on keeping this a secret? How does thay guy keep his job?
