Anyone else a little concerned with all these offers? It feels like we're just offering guys to get bodies, imo. I would rather take only 12 or so this class and concentrate on 2018 now.

Can't see them going that low unless it was because of having too many bodies on campus. Have to try to maximize the class and have depth on campus.

I am one that thinks it is very important that Herman brings in a good recruiting class for 2017 and despite the record that Charlie had here that is over and Charlie is gone so I do not feel that is any issue with these kids.  Herman is telling these kids who he is , his accomplishments from being a Coach on a National Championship Team to going 22-4 as Head Coach of Houston.  I am telling you there is more than enough positives to get these young men to become Longhorns despite the past three years because that Coach and Staff are gone! Trust me you do not want to just be ok with having a poor recruiting class as it does catch up with you at some point.
