2017 Recruiting Thread Part 1

I think a factor for Moses will be what Browning and Hines do a couple weeks before his announcement. If we get both then I don't see Moses coming here. If Hines picks aggy then I think it becomes a real possibility. Browning and Moses may be listed as OLB's but they are bigger than Hines so it's not out of the question for 1 to end up inside.

Thanks for posting the pic. One day we need to have a class on posting things on a phone. Just keep it simple cause I'm not too bright. 😃

I'm pretty optimistic about most of the 5-star guys, but I think Moses is headed to Alabama. Anything could happen, but that's my gut feeling right now.

I agree. Moses is the one I'm most concerned about, partially because he's not from the state of Texas, and it seems like LSU and Alabama are the teams to beat there. Seems like it's easier to convince a Texas player to stay in Texas than it is to ask a non-Texas player (especially from the southeast) to not go to an SEC school.

Right now, I think we're well in front for Walker Little, and are looking at better-than-coin-flip odds for Browning and Wilson. Additionally, it seems like we're on the radar for Leatherwood, Moses and Okudah. At this point, it's all about carrying our momentum for the rest of the season.

Need to add Hines to your list.

Moses and Leatherwood are icing on the cake.

Hines is part of your cake.

We're much better than a coin flip for Browning and Wilson right now. Charlie has made believers out of them. Notre Dame convinced them. We just have to keep on keeping on.

Well in front is a good description for Little from what I've been told. Lets just say its almost happened already.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if we got both Barnes and Okudah? It's now possible.
