Probably just a pipe dream but I wish Najee Harris would give us some consideration after seeing what big RB's can do in this offense. Unfortunately don't think we are in position to flip Bama' commits ( yet ).

We win 10 games this year and we will be recruiting on a national level that our program has never seen.

Kids love this coaching staff like family and parents already trust these coaches already.

We are the number one ranked public university in academics.

Our brand is already know world wide.

God I hope this team can do it.

Mayhall? What Twitter was that? You just posted just now? I can't see it buddy
Its a quote from Sam Ehlinger talking about recruiting:

“If we have a good year, It won’t be about how many we can get, but about who we want and who we have to turn downâ€

Interesting offer but love it. Now which brings up a question to who can answer this for me: 1. Does this affect the good position that Texas is in with the prospects that they are pursuing now and 2. How many players are Texas looking at taking for 2017 ?

Is he not at Denton Guyer? I ask because I know that as late as August his dad (and Texas Tech alum, Montae) was up for a DT coach position at Guyer.  My (ex) brother in law coaches at Guyer and he was pretty excited about the prospect of Montae coaching and Jalen transferring in...I guess I could text him and ask. Also, I always assumed Jalen would be a TTU lean but Mike (I think) says he believes he's headed to Ho-U

Could this be one of those guys who reached out?
No idea if he reached out, but I'm not going to really get hopes up until he makes his way to campus a couple times.

Don't think this affects the position with anyone else at all. And I think the number I've seen thrown around is 20, but it could be less than that.

No, he's at Waxahachie playing for John Kitna. The clip in the link is from their game against Highland Park, which they won.

Everybody is talking about Waxahachie this week in the metroplex, but don't be surprised if Ennis beats them this week.

The Bucknuts recruiting analyst doesn't know about Charlie's couch.

Bob Hunter commentary | Rumblings: Texas back's commitment to Ohio State still solid

For one week at least, it seems Texas finally is on the rise under coach CharlieStrong, which raises the question of how it might affect the Longhorns' attempt to flip runningback J.K. Dobbins, a longtime commitment to Ohio State for 2017.

Bucknuts recruiting analyst Bill Kurelic said it still looks like a strong commitment fromDobbins, a four-star recruit who lives only 65 miles from the Texas campus in LaGrange.

'Bottom line is, I don't think he is going to flip,' Kurelic said. 'For one thing, as excitingas that Texas win was over Notre Dame, there is still a lot of football to be played this season tosee whether Texas has turned the corner. Plus, Texas is pretty stacked at running back right nowand for the next couple of years. Look at Ohio State, and it's not that way.'

Dobbins, a senior who in July was named the outstanding performer at The Opening skills camp inOregon for elite players from across the nation, has been out since the first play of the seasonwhen he suffered a severely sprained ankle. He might not return to action for a few more weeks.
