Briles did ruin his commitment announcement, so maybe he's milking this one so he can get his 15 minutes in the spotlight. It's all good as long as he signs with the good guys

I will let Mike chime in on this, but there is certainly some truth to this.

Boyce would be making a rash decision. 

With Calloway looking like a Texas lean, Texas can upgrade and I'm not sure Boyce would have a spot anymore. 

Kid's get excited after visits. This is going to hurt Boyce more than Texas IMO.
