Normally I would agree, but I think Carson is so good that any team would take him regardless. I don't believe he needs to make reservations, he will always be a "take."

I agree that Carson is a take by anyone unless he has a career ending injury his senior year. That's the purpose of committing to a team before his senior year.

Only at the University of Chicago (UC). Northwestern is fairly tame. UC was weird. Took my daughter there for college visit and while we were walking the campus we heard three gun shots (they sounded fairly close). Never heard that At any other University. She got accepted but chose not to go there for undergrad (maybe grad).

I am so confused by Carson's statements.

Pretty much the same type comments you see from all early commits, and why early commits are worthless to begin with.

For one thing, Texas can't take every Texas recruit out there. Second, I think Texas will only take 2 or 3 WRs this year (Miller and hopefully Buckley and/or Shavers).

I think the article is backasswards. We expect OU to recruit Texas and were fine when they did. We've won far more battles head to head with them than we've lost.

The story, if there is one, is the seeming surrender of Bob Stoops and his national recruiting strategy which never really got off the ground very well. He should have learned a lesson and it would be newsworthy to hear him admit as much.

Bring it on Bob, you idiot. lol
