2016 Recruiting - Week #15-23

It's not that difficult to make a watch list. Heck, Taylor Doyle was nominated for the Rimington. 

IMO the all conference teams were fair. Texas has a talent deficiency and it takes time to fix that. This is why people that are already calling for Watson and Strong's head make me laugh. This roster isn't going to be fixed in two years. 

Texas is not getting much respect these days. Understandable, on the heels of a 6-7 season.

OK, it will make it that much sweeter...when Texas RETURNS. Kick us when we're down...after

we kicked your ass all those years. Only natural. Everybody hates an all time winner like Texas.

A University with a football team that historically has always been a winner. The University of

Texas is the best...and they almost always win. The name "University of Texas" is synonymous

with WINNING and being SUPERIOR.

Can't wait until we return to that status...and we will, courtesy of Head Football Coach Charlie Strong.

It's coming, folks...count on it.

It will be GLORIOUS when we do!

This is true, but there is a ton of talent coming in with this class and much of it will find playing time this year.

Honestly, I can't wait to see the Florida boys unleashed, especially the Cherry Monster. They'll be young but they'll be exciting.

UNLEASH THE FRESHMEN LINEBACKERS!!!  Best LB recruiting class in the history of UT, IMO!

They are all AGILE, MOBILE AND HOSTILE!  Just like my high school coaches said LBs need to be.

Erick Fowler and Sam Ehlinger really seem tight. Interested to see what happens if Ehlinger gets an offer and commits.

I love Cherry's attitude.  We need more kids with a chip on their shoulder.  IMO we lacked that Killer Instinct attitude last year.  We had tons of talent on defense but so many seemed soft spoken.  Cherry provides that entertainment factor.

offense - we lacked experience.  i hope that we can build on the experience from last year.

defense - we lacked depth.  i'm not sure who diggs was referring to when he spoke about "people shouldn't be here", but i saw a lot of intensity and heart in our D.

Texas has offered 4-star Cedar Hill WR Camron Buckley (class of 2017).

He had a fantastic UTL Camp and it paid off. Coaches were highly impressed.
