Talked to Jamal tonight....... I first saw him at the NFTC in Houston earlier this year and he was impressive. He is 6-6 and now weighs 227 lbs. Holds offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Florida, Tulane, Louisville and Nebraska. The SEC is coming after this kid fairly hard from what he told me tonight. I asked if any Big 12 teams have reached out and he said no - mainly SEC schools... BUT said his recruitment is wide open.
He's a 2016 kid out of St. Augustine HS in New Orleans and the area programs are definitely going to get his attention, but if I'm a Big12 program, I would be all over this kid. He can catch and block - and he can hold a lot more weight.
