I had asked this question about 20-50 pages back...In light of momentum swings...Would it be prudent for Charlie Strong to push back his big weekend one week?

Also this lil bit of info from my insider 😠atm drastically overestimated its national brand upon entry into sec - - they feel some kids grow up dteam of being Horns - they lose some battles to Tx b tcu and rest become ags- sec opened them up to that existance plus ala ole miss and tenn etc poaching them dry - - also say a reason was that Texas is eventually going independent bc big 12 fractured after inclusion of fla st clemson failed and atm misery left for sec and ou now feels that they and osu should distance themselves from texas-- thoughts - beside any recruiting info at this point is almost certainly speculation unless ur real plugged in w a certain recruit - breath and Believe NSD gonna be # Letsride

i've oscillated between PAC, B1G and ACC for years.  I sorta jumped off the Pac train for the same reason Juan said, those late Astros games are killing me.  but like a poster said above, if we went to a pod system it wouldn't be as bad.  I think nowadays I like ACC the best if it were us and  a couple of cherry picked Big 12 schools.
The PAC could always be split into divisions. We just have to have 3 other schools come with us.  Arizona, Arizona State, COlorado and Utah are all Mountain time.

Briles is not invited

I used to like/admire him as a coach, now he just creeps me out completely

Poor guy he doesn't wanna talk about commitment
I was just trying to think of who has been going back and forth, having trouble deciding

We may never see anything again as bad as poor Newsome

I had the streaming up for that, and literally was squirming in my seat

Yeah  didn't Newsome cry??  Last year was sorta bittersweet with the gut wrenching pledges of a couple our guys   :)

I just don't get the expansion talk with Boren....10 teams is good enough.  Houston and BYU are the only legitimate candidates out there and adding Houston would hurt Texas, OU and others recruiting wise.

Interesting note on The Football Brainiacs regarding Cobb...

– Parrish CobbHad a long conversation last night with a source close to Parrish Cobb. This one is very interesting. The long time Sooner commit apparently actually wants to go to Texas with his cousin (Eric Cuffee). But I’m told that the father wants his son at OU. So, my source tells me that the compromise in the end may end up being Baylor. – (Super K)
Wait, What?

My wife and I were out sofa shopping once. I liked a big leather couch and she liked a smaller "foo foo" print sleeper sofa. We didn't buy a plaid sectional. We bought the dang foo foo! Somebody has to get what they want. Just saying.

I'd only take Housotn if they locked Tom Herman up for 20 years!!  They had great attendance this year but historically, not so much.  The Big 12 doesn't need any more members with low energy fan bases who don't turn out.

I am old enough to remember when they joined the SWC

Those games were fun

BBall too

Was a blast

That was a great team to hate -- the best fan atmosphere I have ever personally seen for a UT home game was vs. UH

This is something else i fault Dodds for, the focus is solely about revenues

I saw Dodds talk at least 15-18 times, always the same - revenues, tv contracts, stadium expansion, ticket sales  - ALWAYS revenues-related.  Some pretty smug shit i will add.

He lost sight of the idea the fans deserve a fun experience

We are the best and biggest fanbase in the country, they should reward us.  As opposed to simply seeing us as another source of revenue

I thought the theory was that Houston didn't bring an additional TV market. All they do is split the revenue the Big 12 is already getting.
