IMO then it seems that Fowler is that dude!  I tend to favor versatility.  Plus the fact that he was told he would be used in a Striker-esque role here it seems like he should be a priority.  Envision he and Jefferson lining up at different positions, wrecking havoc on opposing offenses...hope we land him
A LB crew of Fowler - MJ - Shark might be too much for me to handle.  More like a dream than potential reality

I might have to start some tantric breathing exercises or something just to cope.  Heh

Realistically, we have options.  We still have Wheeler and Freeman.  And apparently Hager is jonesing to start in the middle rather than with a hand on the ground as the coaches want (he has a great first step).  Or we add Mark Jackson or DJax.   Sounds like its gonna work out, right?  And then think about this groups' overlap with our DB group.  Sounds even better, right?

There was a story about him today or yesterday.  He was pissed off that he was not given a chance once they began moving away from Swoopes.  He was briefly immature over that.  But Watson was able to reel him back in and got him re-focused.  They say he has come back more mature, showing the type of leadership you would expect from a coach's son.  Buechele too on that front, as the son of a pro athlete.  The story suggested Kai and Shane get the whole leadership thing better than Swoopes/Heard.  And that some of our other players are beginning to buy into the idea of Kai as QB.

Per 247 LSU will do an in-home with Fowler today and no word if Strong will get one. They think it is all LSU as of today.
So much for Operation Shut Down

It was OB saying there would be no more Fowler contact with anyone.  Seems like they are often behind the curve.

IT and Scout were the ones saying, hang on, let's see what happens there.

I doubt Buechele or Locklsley ever see the field. I'm pretty confident Heard locks it down for the next 3 years. And Ehlinger takes over after that...the offense seems pretty similar to what Heard ran in high school.  He'll be both more comfortable and confident this season and with Gilbert "coachin' him up" I expect to see a vast improvement...

aggy has no idea whats coming

And it's there own fault for living in their own private Idahos

Could be.  However it goes, the outlook is so much better than it has been at the position

I have to admit I never watched that much Tulsa play, although I did watch their final game this season.  Plus, we already knows how Baylor rolls.  I still have to catch up there.  Gilbert is his own guy, so the QB competition will be interesting.  Especially now that we will have a full compliment of OLs again (what a dark period that was on the OL the past few seasons).  This crew may be young, but at least we have a crew.
