For anybody reading all the posts the past 24 hours I realize there may be a difference in the meaning of "getting off" on NSD, versus "taking off" (from work) on NSD.

It's reasonable to also end up doing both on NSD! :) ) Anyway, in the interest of manners I have amended something I wrote, and a certain loyal regular will know (maybe).

Thankfully... I work from a home office so can follow along, not having to rush out the door in this damn Austin traffic getting to somewhere for the day.

Just finished watching the Brandon Jones documentary. It gets interesting at the 13:55 mark. His mom asks his brothers "where can he go to play and start as a freshmen?" All of his brothers said Texas

Can't find the post above where it was said... so beg pardon for not directly quoting... to repeat that, Texas and Clemson led the nation in true freshmen playing.

Here's a nice way of putting things....  http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/14379853/texas-alabama-lead-2015-true-freshman-all-america-team

" ..... the ESPN.com True Freshman All-America Team.

Alabama and Texas lead the way with three players apiece on the team. It's further proof the Crimson Tide continue to stockpile talent at a dizzying pace. And maybe the outlook in Austin isn't as bleak as some might lead you to believe if the Longhorns will hang in there with Charlie Strong."

Justin Madubuike is from McKinney North.   Defensive End,  4-star    6-3, 265, 4.6 (per HUDL) and an   aggy commit

Per Juan, two pages back...

Thanks for all the replies. I used to obsess over a bunch of sweaty 17 year old boys, but a few years back, I calmed the f@#% down about recruiting. Nowadays, the nicknames and pet names often go right over my head, so I just ask if I am curious.Being 63 and being cool just don't go together.

DE Erick Fowler

''''
OB thinks Fowler has shut it all down until NSD and wont be seeing any visitors

So, it will be one thing to watch for this week -- whether Charlie gets his in-home with Fowler or not
