The way he said it was..."I'm sitting on 1 for sure hire for the offense"
Then he insinuated we may have another hire but it's not definite. If it does happen we could finish with a top 5 class..
That's how I understood it. I'm hoping that last comment was regarding Hurtt, but i hope my wishful thinking didn't cloud my hearing..lol

I think hiring Hurtt would be more of a long-game type of move - I don't expect he'd have enough time to have much of an impact on 2016 recruiting.

Someone posted this info on OB and said that he also said that something real big could happen that would affect us in a huge negative way. Any idea on this and what he said?

That's why I'm confused. I don't know where he could land a job as OC in NFL... No more good HC jobs open in NCAA.

Many posters on HD are speculating Traylor might get another job, but Higs isnt giving any indication as to what it is

Amazing that a coach one year removed from HS coaching may be more important than the head coach. Let that sink in.
