Didnt Fowler consistently beat Greg Little in head to head during a camp?
I could have sworn I read something where he beat Little in a camp repeatedly from the DE position.
Fowler could easily play Fox end.

Yes.
We offered him on Jun 9. He committed to Mizzou on Oct 5, but has scheduled his OV 2 UT Jan 23.
He's been quoted as saying, "Texas is one of my dream schools," so we're definitely not out of it with the speedster.

On DBs Texas needs safetys have plenty of bodies at CB. DT should #1 with LB at #2 on defensive side. OL #1 with TE #2 on offensive side.
There are two Darius Anderson's in this class
The DT you were thinking of is a good player too
But he is considered a little short for the position. Not extreme, just less than ideal
But he said in an article out this morning that Texas has been in contact lately

Poona Ford is considered too short as well; however it doesn't seem to hold his game back!
LSU may end up with the No. 1 class overall. Pretty amazing job by Miles & Co. under the circumstances.
At DT, they already have Edwin Alexander and Glen Logan. Plus it looks like they will land Rashard Lawrence as well.
On top of those guy, besides Giles, they are sitting well with Ross Blacklock, Shavar Mauel and Stephon Taylor.
Color me jealous.
But they cant land everyone, right?
Our chances with either Giles or possibly Taylor have to be improving. And we now have more PT to offer.
This is why I was hoping Ogeron would take the USC position as rumored. He kills it

Which of our targets are making their commitments at the All star games?
McCulloch was going to but has now kicked it back (which we interpret as good for us)
Delance is supposed to but the latest word is that he may delay to NSD
Sounds like Cuffee is leaning that way
Whaley is another guy who was going to but now looks like NSD
There were several guys who originally were but are now waiting.
One other tidbit -- since we lost Reese, we are all in on DJax at ILB. If we whiff, there is no backup plan. There is a high 3-star from LA named Giovanni LaFrance who likes us but we have backed off recruiting him. So Jackson or bust it is

DT Michael Williams has set his OV to Stanford Jan 16.

This one is a little weird in that he should have heard about his admittance to Stanford by now but there has been no official word yet (you would think if he got the letter he would say so on social media). Stanford people say they lose a recruit or two most years for this reason, but Shaw has gotten better at getting players in than he was originally.
