I'm still thinking we end up between 12-15 overall when it comes to composite rankings, but I'm more worried about getting need that fits scheme/style.  Strong has a vision for every player, he doesn't recruit based on evaluations by recruiting sites.

I don't get this at all.  For one thing he seemed about as solid as they come and 2 I wish he'd go read what's being said about him on Texags after he was sent home from Arkansas OV.

I remember feeling the same way last year with Boyd...and that turned out OK.

This is looking at the final Scout list which is what Higs goes by

Elliott for one of Anderson or Hudson might do it, but we would need the other (just eyeballing it)

Yes, we would need to land a combination of Hudson, Anderson, Fowler or Jmad to get into the top 10....I don't see that happening and I'm stoked if we land the prospects currently viewed as REAL possibilities.  I don't need sunshine, I need players that fit the bill.

Per Suchomel Fowler will not do any more in-home visits or at his school He has made his decision and his parents are on board. Strong did not get an in-home.. Writing is on the wall. LSU all the way IMO 

Higs is holding onto the idea that we may still get in a visit.  But his (ahem) sources may just be behind alittle.  Also, that^ was from OB, who is often wrong about stuff

Assuming true, it is too bad.  I had visions of him being the Texas version of Striker.  He is tailor made for the role.  But he has been in love with LSU since he was a little kid.

Paging Mark Jackson.  Some of these guys' sources keep saying our coaches think Jackson is perfect in that role.

The fact that UT's underachieving 2012 class was rated #2 is enough to temper my expectations in perpetuity.

Sobering, but our 2015 class was good and this one is shaping up to be even better. At least on paper. IMO, we need at least 3 DTs and preferably guys who can play right away. I really like the OL commits, too.

I agree. This is why I've been pumping the "dancing in my chair" remark for the last two weeks. I think there is a lot for us to be excited about right now but we should all refrain from lottery frenzy. This is going to be a great class, don't let the fact that we won't actually be getting everybody keep you from recognizing that.
