Got the flu and drugged up on meds. I'm not sure if I feel bad or good, lol. Hopefully, I don't pass out again before the Boyd/Hill announcement.

I've heard this afternoon and this morning, who knows.

Guess it will depend on the Murray momentum. It sounded like everyone thought both Boyd/Hill were headed to Texas yesterday. I don't think Murray has an impact on Boyd/Hill, but we shall see.

i thought about that last night

i think if Strong can really pull his magic on Locksley and hope he can..we should be fine

Yep, Locksley is the key now. It's about positions of need.

As long as we land 1 out of Boyd and Hill, we will be alright at CB IMO. The reaffirmation of Davis' commitment last night doesn't make me worry about CB all that much. I actually think Davis might be the best out of the bunch, but I hope we still land Boyd/Hill.

I really don't mind how things play out as long as we land another QB and DT. Time for me to pass out now.

New member and first time poster and just wanted to say thanks for the info provided and the overall attitude of this forum. Best forum I have ever read on Longhorn sports.
Welcome! Yes the folks here at Hornsports do a great job.

i tell ya i went over last night being a quiet observer as i am...went over at shaggybevo..i have never seen in my life how stupid some of those gotten over KM its like we had a long shot with this kid..and who could blame him for making that decision like it was CRAZY

I wouldnt be surprised if he goes into MLB..he will be a good draft pick for anybody ...was baseball his main love there Jim?
I actually do not know. Football is a huge deal at Allen while baseball is not. I just can't see him going to play minor league baseball in a low level league after being the big man on campus at Allen for 3 years and getting do much attention.

I think it may come down to draft position and how much money he would stand to make, or lose.

i will say this though after Davis had confirmed his committment to UT it made me feel alot better in CB position..if we land boyd and hill we are going to be in good shape our two most important needs are QB and DT..and imo i dont think murrays decision had any effect on Mack at all..Malik had more of an impact and pull on Mack than Murray did

I don't think this (Murray staying committed) is a surprise to many of the recruits - go back to when Locksley was on his OV to Texas and he said the other recruits were telling him that they 'need a QB' and that 'Locksley is the guy'.  I don't think these guys would have been talking that way if they thought Murray was coming to Texas.

I said it after Lampkin and Charles O posted their tweets about a big NSD - but I don't think they were talking about Murray & Lodge, I thought (and still think) that they were talking about Mack and Soso.  That's two five-stars that were visiting the same weekend and who a month ago no one thought we had a chance for.

Charles O likes our chances today - not that I think he knows anything definitively - but I do believe he must have a pretty good feeling about what those two have been thinking.

12 hours ago everyone was picking those two to Texas, and I don't believe for a second that they have any connection or influence to/from Murray.
