2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Strong never wanted Lockhart and made no attempt to recruit him, despite Lockhart commenting on how he was a higher ranked player than Charles O.

I'm pretty sure Coach Charlie "F" Strong has a pocket full of chips after this weekend that allows him a Big Grin.  I an astonished at the amount of time I've spent on recruit boards the last month compared to the mackdaddy days. 

I can see now that pertains to the quality of recruits Coach Strong is after compared to the comfort level cookie guys Mack had lined up in July.

I never understood the Gentry commit except for Watson desire to force square pegs into round holes.  The round holes in Texas high school coaching are filled with the Heard's, Murrays and more to come.  Coach Strong will load up the "D" and needs to develop the best of Texas high school "O".

This 2015 recruiting class lays the foundation for the best of 2016 and beyond to focus on the Horns as their first choice.  Aggy is doomed to fighting Vanderbilt, KY for last place sec,sec.  They have no future in championship level D1.

Hope the Ou rumors are false, from what he says recently, he seems like a solid commit.

Completely agree. We dont need to run an "air raid" or Briles system. We can utilize the zone read and other spread concepts. We can be multiple with formations and tempo. Bottom like is Texas will be around mobile, fast QB bc thats what is mostly produced in Texas HS but at the same time We can run the smash mouth with 2 TEs or FB. Best of everything. Ou and tOsu and Florida and Lsu and Auburn all utilize multiple formation and tempo. Makes complete sense.

(I was hoping Burt would show up this weekend.  May have been the smart move for him and us)
