2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

DE Prince Tega (Alabama) broke his leg in a basketball game.

He was just reclassified as a 2015

We offered him in Dec when he was a 2016

Here's where the Scout staff thinks guys end up. http://recruiting.scout.com/story/1503309-scout-300-2015-commit-tracker-1-20

5* DT Daylon Mack - 100% Texas A&M

5* RB Soso Jamabo - 100% UCLA

4* WR Damarkus Lodge - 100% Ole Miss

4* CB Kris Boyd - 50% Texas, 50% Texas A&M

4* RB Chris Warren - 100% Texas

4* CB Holton Hill - 100% Texas

4* WR Carlos Strickland - 100% UCLA

4* WR John Burt - 100% Texas

4* RB Nicholas Brossette - 50% LSU, 50% Texas

4* WR Ryan Newsome - 100% Texas
This is not a good advertisement to become a member of Scout. The 50/50 is weak and I disagree on Soso and now we may no room for Warren.

Yeah, the way Demarco Boyd/Deshon Elliott keep tweeting I think Boyd and Hill already know they are heading to Texas.

Did Texas offer - or are they planning too? Doesn't look like OU has offered Donelly either.

CB still shows 100% Stanford

I do think Donnelly showed quicker frist step than Kevin Scott in the film

It's a little hard to tell but this Lampkin/Donnelly last minute pitch might be directed at ou

Donnelly's most recent twitter follow is ou DL coach

See this version of that tweet

Lampkin also retweeted this today

He was originally committed ou

Seems like good timing that he will be in Austin this weekend

Also, his mom's twitter is disturbingly pro-ou  https://twitter.com/Dr_Lampkin

"Meh" almost all these guys RT stuff when someone tweets something at them. Lampkin said 2 days ago he's 100 percent to Texas, so I won't worry about him until there's something more substantial.

I also don't think OU is going to offer Donelly, they have several DTs higher on their board that they will probably land. I'm pretty sure Lampkin's tweet about "playing together" was in reference to Texas since he posted a pic with himself in a Texas hat flashing a Hook'em. Texas is looking at other DTs so it would make sense that we might offer Donelly (there's obviously been some type of contact if you look at who Donelly follows on Twitter).

Looks like Texas is about to make a push for Camrin Knight. Norvell started following Knight on Twitter, and Knight started following Norvell. That would certainly help with Burt.

Brossettes recent follows are nothing but Longhorn players/recruits/coaches.

Looking at Davante Davis from the Auburn perspective --

At the moment, Auburn has 2 safeties committed and 1 ATH who could be a DB. They do not have any specific CBs committed. We think they want 2 CB's and are in hot pursuit of 8 CBs total.  They had two CBs visit last week (Davis and Redwine) and have 2 more this coming weekend (Justin Martin and Jeremiah Dinson).

Here is Auburn 247 latest take on 5 of the 8 CBs they are chasing --

Jeremiah Dinson -- offered by Auburn last week and will visit Jan. 23.   Florida also ...  in the picture. How heavily the Tigers pursue could determine the outcome.  Auburn was expected to visit him Tuesday.

Javarius Davis -- visited Auburn over the weekend, and he is extremely close with Tigers cornerbacks coach Travaris Robinson ....  We believe Davis is now a strong Auburn lean

Sheldrick Redwine -- visited Auburn last weekend, and is believed to be high on the Tigers’ board.  He will official with the Cards this weekend, and Texas the next.  A final decision will come a day or two after the latter, he said.  Auburn has made a significant move with Redwine in the past week, and may be close to even with Louisville.

Justin Martin -- 4-star Vols commit expected to visit the Tigers this weekend.  Because Martin has junior college experience, he could be more ready to play early than a high school recruit — and Auburn certainly needs immediate help at corner in 2015.

Davante Davis -- Texas commit is close with Auburn safety commit Tim Irvin and has a prior relationship with Robinson.  Davis expected to visit Auburn on Jan. 30.

Javarius Davis has the best odds of joining the class, followed by Dinson and Redwine.   Martin is a wild-card.

Conclusion - IF Auburn247 has it correct, then it appears Davante Davis is more of a backup plan for them.  IF some of these other guys commit early, then they might even be full at CB before he ever visits them.  The worst scenario from our perspective would be if they land both Davis and Redwine.  The best is if they fill up now without either.

We have been following the Camrin Knight developments for a few days .

From my perspective, it would be great to have two TEs in the class given what we have seen the last several years.  And I hope that is what is going on here versus something up with Clarington's transcripts.  Clarington is the bees knees.

......

There is another potential TE out there for us.  Apparently coaches have been talking to Camrin Knight (6'4,220) -- current Fla commit.  He is a high school teammate of John Burt.  There is a chance he may visit with Burt on Jan 30.  From our side, we would like another but there is a numbers crunch......

Apparently, it's been ongoing.  He says -- "I'm going on a visit soon (TEXAS).  Right now I don't know when.  Most likely it will be the last week of January..........I hear from them a lot, actually. They told me basically they want to be there, things like that."

About Gators, he says  --  "Right now I'm still committed to them. I like everything they have, the new coaches they're bringing and I'm excited to meet them."

So, to me, sounds like we have a legit shot given the changes going on at UF.  The other issue being whether we even have a spot.  But think of how weird it would be for us to have not one but two TEs who can actually catch the ball.  That would probably confuse alot of Texas fans.  Like the caveman and fire.  We would need to film those reactions -- Oscar material i tell you

juan whats the latest with Burt? I know the coaches had an in home visit with Burt correct?? and from what i hear they are making a pursuit for Camrin Knight...lol well nevermind lol since im reading the above post lol
