The latest from 247 is that 4-star CB Mark Fields visit is back on for Jan 30

LSU Jan 16, Clemson Jan 23 and then Texas Jan 30.

He had just said last week he wasn't going to make it

Texas assistant coach Chris Rumph handles this recruitment for the Longhorns.  â€œI really like coach Rumph,†Fields said. “Coach Charlie Strong is like the O.G. of DBs. Plus they play in the Big XII and that’s a passing league.â€
 
His father played linebacker for the New Orleans Saints from 1995-2000.
 
The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 7 CB and the No. 4 prospect in North Carolina in the 2015 class per 247
