2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Grande - that last line wasn't posted in what I saw. My heart rate thanks you.

NOW - here's another rumor I'm chasing down. Word is that Murray Sr is being considered for a staff position. Son comes with him.

I know Murray Sr. has some relationship with Watson and was the QB coach for our gray shirt. Don't know if Strong would go full SEC with that kind of move. Watson would presumably move to WR coach/OC

There must have been such an uproar over the (mis)quote issued by an Aggy site attributed to Malik that he felt it would be wise to contact pops.

From aggy perspective, it's the logical thing to do. Did hiring this guy sway the meter in any way? It's why they've been spewing "splash hire" for so long.

Just to be clear, a staff position at The University of Texas?

Wait...there's a rumor out there that Kevin Murray may be hired for a staff position at UT?

Now I've heard everything.

247 says WR Collin Johnson remains 100% Texas, despite loss of WR Coach Les Koenning.

I have no idea if it's true that we are going to hire Kevin Murray, but there are some reasons why it would make sense.

Charlie Strong was a GA for the aggies in 1985 when Kevin was the star QB.

He's a successful QB high school at  Parish Episcopal School in Dallas and it sure looks like he did a good job training his son. I would imagine the father of Kyler Murray would be well received in the home of recruits especially in the Dallas area.

The most important is that Kyler is worth it.

The added benefit would be that it would really piss off the aggies.

Sirhornsalot, its stuff like this that keeps me coming back to Hornsports.  If this came about, you talk about a dagger in the heart of Aggy!

I love it.

NSS......His dad is a Longhorn. He is coming to Texas because of that. You or me could be coaching the WRs and this kid would come here....I'm a darn good WR coach though...LOL

If hill made the announcement after Chevis made the news of going aggy and he really wants to play with Boyd then I think we have both of them.

Carlos Strickland will officially visit Texas this month. He will also visit UCLA. Right now, UCLA leads due to a good QB situation there.

Cal is also pursuing him hard, but UCLA is recruiting him the hardest.

buice - affirmative. no aggy or fsu in that top three

Hill was asked about the Chavis move, but he responded in terms of how it affected his view of LSU, not aggy. LSU assured him they'd run the same scheme.
