If Davis (Jan 1) and then Irvin (Jan 3) come on board, I think all the Florida guys will as well.
(as long as there is still space)
It looks like our coaching staff may be making some very tough choices shortly.

Davis's schools are us and FSU
Irvin's are us, Florida, Miami, & WVU
Davis has been following what is going on in Austin
For example, he sent this tweet out on the day Jefferson and McNeal committed

It seems quite possible this is why he picked January 1 for his announcement. He knows our spots are filling up and wants to ensure he gets one
He is a 4-star CB prospect with the great size (6'3,200) Strong seems to be targeting

Yea, you've got Boyd on Christmas, Davis on New Years, and Irvin two days later. I think you take the first to come between Fields and Hill.
WR is where I see a potential log jam as well. Burt, Newsome, possibly Hill, Johnson or Strickland, Lodge. IMO, you take one of Johnson/Strickland/Lodge because they are similar. Newsome better do it soon.

i swear this stuff is feist or famine. One moment we are hopeful for anyone good to come aboard then we have guys racing to claim there spot. At this current time I love it, never doubt Strong and Co I guess.

It's looking like this recruiting class could end very well for Texas.
Ryan Newsome-Texas owns 73 percent of the crystal balls on 247 and it's trending Texas. (4 star)
Davante Davis-Texas only owns 17 percent of the crystal balls but it's starting to trend Texas. (3 star)
Gilbert Johnson-Texas owns 100 percent of the crystal balls. (3 star)
Tim Irvin-Texas only owns 17 percent of the crystal balls but it's starting to trend Texas big time. (4 star)
Devonaire Clarington- Texas only owns 37 percent of the crystal balls but it's starting to trend Texas big time. (4 star)
Kris Boyd- Texas owns 62 percent of the crystal balls and it's starting to trend Texas big time. (4 star)
Chris Warren-Texas owns 75 percent of the crystal balls and it's trending Texas. (4 star)
Texas is also in the game for Holton Hill, Daylon Mack, Nicholas Brossette, Mark Fields, Demarcus Lodge and a few others. Numbers are going to be tight so we can probably only take 1 or 2 if we land all the guys above (which I'm starting to think is a real possibility).

Evidently this conversation originated with something negative Loochi said about Malik. I still maintain that negative comments posted there should not be posted here. The Ags are acting like immature a-holes regarding two great young men.

Last night, I was eating at the type of restaurant in which you must push a tray to a cashier.
The cashier was a pretty funny woman, in a very festive mood, who was happily taking her time.
We shared some giggles, and at the point I was finally paying she hit her high note of cashier comedy and had me LOLng.
I became concerned I was too loud, so quickly stole a glance at the seated diners.
At the closest table was an easily-identifiable aggy. He was wearing one of those starched white button-ups with obnoxiously loud maroon aggy stitching.
And he was staring me down.
I was briefly puzzled then my brain reminded me I had on a Horn sweatshirt (with tastefully understated insignia, of course, because that's how I roll).
In that moment when our eyes met, I was still laughing. And that poor aggy just hung his head and stared at his food.
I suspect he was sure I was giggling at him or them. I wasn't but that is just how self-obsessed aggy rolls. It's always about them.
He must have said something to his wife because she actually reached out to console him with a pat of the arm.
It was just one of those little moments in time. Yet nonetheless symbolic
I think that all of us who pay attention on both sides are reaching the same group conclusion at the same time.
aggy's moment in the sun was brief and illusory. It's now over. The natural order has begun to reassert itself.
Einstein once said the most powerful force in the universe is compound interest. I disagree. I say it's regression to the mean. Which is what is happening to aggy right now.

Vahe got his 5th star on Rivals. Rivals made a mistake though giving him "48 stars" (Vahe must be damn good).
