2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Spoke with a friend today. Very disappointed with what I was told. Involves MJ and why he will end up at aggy. Was also told that Boyd will likely follow him there in the 11th hour.
Anything regarding McNeal? I thought him and Malik were also wanting to play together in college.

Can't tell if thats meant to be sarcastic or not - but thats why I like it.

Even if we're as knuckles deep in all of this as every other University - it still sucks.  Recruiting is infuriating.
But it's fun too.

Lots of recruits out there that I'm excited about.

MJ

So So

Chris Warren

A QB who can play next year if Heard and Swoopes have injuries or problems (UAB QB?)

Chris Clark- The offense needs a good to great TE bad.

DeAndre McNeal- Coach Strong promising first touch in the ND game says to me that Charlie wants him pretty bad.

Jefferson & McNeal are friends, but realize they need to pursue football where it's best for each of them (rather than making sure it's at the same place). If they choose the same school, then great. If not, neither of them are going to change to make sure they play together.

No, nothing on McNeal. McNeal will go where his best opportunity is, in his mind. That said, there are others who do desire to play with MJ, one of those is Boyd.

I feel really good about the Cherry kid and there's a very good TE in our future.

I get all verklempt when I think of the possibility of Warren and Soso in the same backfield. It's very promising right now.

The thing about recruiting is things change daily. A great example is DeShon Elliott. Everyone flew off the handle after he visited aggy and it looked like he would flip (now he is solid to Texas). Recruits are excited after visits, but that normally fades after a little bit of time and thinking. Things will continue to shift/change.

I will say this about Boyd, I don't think he has a commitable offer to aggy much like Elliott. That might change, but that's how I see it right now. Aggy took too many DBs early on and don't have room except for maybe one more.

FYI keep your eye on Kingsley Keke. More reports that he isn't solid to aggy and still has strong interest in the Longhorns. Per IT.

For those that don't have a decoder ring... can you explain a little¿¿¿

Ok, keep an eye on the Irvin kid from South Florida. Texas really likes this kid. Florida has been main comp but they're without a HC right now. Advantage Texas

Could start the momentum down in Florida with a commitment from Irvin. He is a mid-term enrollee so his decision comes within two weeks from now.

This is the only DB outside Elliott that I hear people rave about, that we're recruiting. I'm told the kid can really play.

Miami is the main comp for Irvin not Florida...he's going to have to tell Uncle Mike no to come to UT
