2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

well then DON'T COMMIT IN THE FIRST PLACE!  burt is not some two year old toddler.  he is a young adult for whom has been around the recruitment merry go round.  when he COMMITTED to TEXAS at the beginning of the season, he made it as heartfelt / sincere as possible.  he new the TEXAS football situation or lack there of first hand.  strong was indeed very upfront and honest with him and his family.  let us place a halt to the constant spin moves here!  burt and his father became a bit enchanted as per the southern charm, glamor, momentum, and winning combinations that auburn brought forth... until they started losing that is...

if he is at a point in his young life that he has become discombobulated as per his commitment to TEXAS.. then we can easily present him the benefit of the doubt here.  therefore, keep it quiet and take care of your business.  however, every time you look around there is a headline or tweet with a new discourse.  now he is hereby stating to the nation that he shall wait upon NSD to reveal his latest decision... this is indeed a circus!
He can do what he wants to do.  He doesn't owe us or anyone at Auburn a thing.  If you don't like the way he has handled things fine that's your opinion.

I choose to not get worried if a player decides he's going to another school or not or the process in between.

It will all work out in the end.

If what I understand is correct, we're about to have a few new commits come our way in the near future.

All you can do with Burt is continue to work him. Hopefully it pays off. It might not though and that's just how it goes sometimes. Can't get real upset about losing a Florida recruit when we have so many interested in us for the first time in forever. Even still, we haven't lost anything yet.

cecil cherry, was hereby trying his very best to be respectful as per tennessee, that is until he got into a shouting match as per vol nation and they pissed him off.  (please perform a bit of due diligence)  cecil cherry, is a southern florida thoroughbred; and he certainly doesn't have to take any BS off of the people of tennessee (especially when he already knows the real deal).

the only issue that i have with burt, is that today's football recruits are highly sophisticated.. highly counseled / mentored.. and very well traveled.  depending upon the * star ratings as per these recruits, everyone is hereby watching and awaiting their every move.. sans malik jefferson / ryan newsome.  TEXAS, last gridiron matchup with tcu was a public relations disaster!  there were hereby 40+ recruits at that particular DKR matchup.  any recruit that was hereby hanging upon the narrow edge.. is now about to head off of the cliff!

NSD is within this month of december. we need for our recruits to be focused and prepared.  not swinging back and forth like some scene from the movie THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM!  if burt just does not want to honor his commitment to TEXAS... then be a man and let the TEXAS officials know this.  decommitt, and head to wherever you heart desires.  allow for the TEXAS staffers to start focusing upon recruits that really desire to be at TEXAS.  like i have duly stated beforehand... i harbor no problem presenting burt the benefit of the doubt here.  however, TEXAS has been very upfront and honest with burt and his family.  coach strong certainly does not deserve the circus scenario that is currently ensuing.

KEEP CALM AND ADD SOME WD40

TO YOUR SPIN MACHINE!  all it takes is a squirt...
I tried to read this, but couldn't which I believe is a good thing.

Ahh.  a well written rational reply with great info.  Thanks SHL!

monarch, this is a totally clueless conclusion:

i was at the game... didn't seem so totally clueless to me!

Burt can do what he wants to do, but we can also have our own opinions and make a joke here and there if we want. Hopefully he will end up on the 40 acres after all, but hope he doesn't bail out at the last minute and leave us holding a scholarship that another player might have accepted for the WR position. This happens every year, so we should expect some casualties and some late acquisitions by signing day. Should be interesting come signing day! Keep it rolling Charlie!

Chris Clark has decommitted from Michigan.
