McKinney North High School (McKinney, Texas) 2016 4 star defensive end Justin Madubuike has started to garner his fair share of recruiting attention. The talented 6-3, 245-pound athlete has worked hard and has made sure he has chance to play at the next level.

Madubuike is the type of player that can dominate a high school game. He knows that he has to continue to work hard to make sure he does that at the next level, as well.

"I am a pass rusher when necessary," said Madubuike. "I am usually a quick bull rusher and do my best to crush the man in front of me. I use my hands to juke the offensive lineman as well.

"I'm working on my speed and quickness right now. My size and strength would http://olemiss.247sports.com/Article/4-star-DE-Justin-Madubuike-says-hell-visit-Ole-Miss-in-the-fall-29286223cause damage to the offensive line if I get faster and quicker."

I have read that the coaches are out visiting recruits. Any idea on who and how it is going?

I know they are supposed to be dropping into Mesquite Poteet to see Malik. Also dropped by Sache to see Duvernay and Mayden. Wick is supposed to be at the North Shore Trinity game.

Here is an AAS article on recruiting generally --

Texas has 31 scholarships available this year. Six are still left over from February, and there are 25 new ones to give out. It’s unclear whether Strong will use them all, but it’s likely the Longhorns will sign anywhere from 25-30 players for 2015.

Texas has 16 players committed for the coming year, a class that’s rated the 17th best nationally according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. But remember that Strong doesn’t care about the star rankings. “Let’s go get football players,†he said in the offseason.

Offensive line is a clear priority. Texas just extended scholarship offers to two junior college tackles, an indication the coaching staff wants help immediately. This is on top of the five offensive linemen already committed.

Defensive line is a strength right now, but that will change once senior Cedric Reed leaves, possibly taking junior Malcom Brown with him into the NFL Draft. There isn’t an army of players on the sideline waiting to come in at linebacker, cornerback or safety, either. If there were, we’d have seen them by now.

According to this he's a piggy lock, with Ole Miss as a possibility. Hoping for an upset.

Dumas (Ark.) 4-star tight end Will Gragg updates plans

Dumas (Ark.) 4-star tight end Will Gragg will announce his college decision on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m. at his high school gymnasium. Gragg, the younger brother of former Razorback Chris Gragg, will choose from Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Alabama, LSU and Texas.

The Crystal Ball has 28 predictions with 75 percent for Arkansas, 18 percent for Ole Miss, 4 percent for Texas and Alabama. Gragg has a grade of 91 with the 247Composite, is the No. 185 recruit in the Top 247, No. 6 tight end in the nation and No. 1 recruit in Arkansas in the 247Composite.

Gragg is good friends with North Little Rock (Ark.) 4-star wide receiver K.J. Hill who committed to the Razorbacks on Sept. 5. Gragg was present at Hill's announcement. Gragg was in attendance when Arkansas played host to Nicholls State.
