2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

Now this guy looks like he is about to rip your head off; he also looks like he's 30 yrs old, and reminds me of Shawn Kemp for that matter. Which of the RBs described above is this guy?

Heh, the pic is Dauphine

BTW, he ran the fastest 200-meter time of any high schooler in 2014.

Here is another

Another 2015 RB recruit, will be interesting the quantity of backs we will take this recruiting cycle. As I said before, will be interesting to see if the recruits want to sign with 4-5 other RB recruits. I assume Brossette and Warren remain our primary targets, but this guy looks the part.

Theres no way I should be this invested in the tweets of a 17/18 year old kid - but how can you not get excited by the thought of this?  Having a pipeline to all of that talent in South Florida would be incredible.  These guys could be the start of something big.  Lets hope it happens.

Indeed.  Check out some of those videos posted a page back.

Most of these FLA guys have something in common - they hit hard.

2016 RB Kam Martin (Port Arthur Memorial, same school as Dauphine):
“I just told [Coach Robinson] that I feel like they were playing around.  He told me they weren’t playing around. He started laughing. I told him I was still committed to Baylor and he said, ‘We gonna get you. We gonna get you,’ and stuff like that. He was confident. He said he wasn’t going to stop recruiting me and that he was going to recruit me until the end.â€

“Until I get that (Texas) offer, I’m staying solid to Baylor.  When Texas does offer me, I don’t know, things could change. I am going to keep my options open. But I’m still committed to Baylor though.â€

“Yeah if Texas would have offered me at a young age I would have been committed to them.  They were my childhood favorite.â€

Here is an article about his dismissal  http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2014/04/14/clemson-dismisses-qb-chad-kelly/7713611/

"....Kelly, a rising sophomore who is the nephew of former NFL quarterback Jim Kelly, was rated the nation's No. 4 dual-threat quarterback by Rivals.com in high school. He entered spring practice competing to win the job vacated by Tajh Boyd. But the spring game last Saturday didn't go very well.

Kelly was 10-of-18 for 113 yards with two interceptions and did not play in the second half. According to reports, Kelly was upset when coaches decided late in the first half not to go for it on fourth-and-3, then, according to the Post and Courier of Charleston, S.C., he "let the coaches hear it at halftime." When they benched him in response, the newspaper said Kelly was observed "sniping into the fourth quarter at coaches."

A few notes that I ran into today and thought I'd share.

The Cherry kid is the gift that keeps giving. Strange that he's still listed as a Vol commit, he'd enroll at Texas tomorrow if he could. Turns out he's quite the recruiter. Swears he will bring 2-3 with him from Florida.

Turns out, we didn't slam the door shut with Sosa Jamambo. We're recruiting him and he's receptive. UCLA leads. Would be a hoot to have him and Warren in the same backfield.

Arkiesaw is trying to move in on Weathersby. He's solid to Texas, but Arkie is putting the full court press on him.

I am concerned about the lack of wide receivers in the 15' class. Any word on John Burt? If we lose him, we are down to zero wide receiver recruits.
