2015 Recruiting Season is in full swing

I think Vahe had 48 stars at some point, some type of a mix up.

Also, Chad President QB/Ath committed to Tulsa after decommitting from Baylor. Really wanted his shot at QB and will get it with they guy that was recruiting him at BU, Montgomery.

This is from 3-star CB Rayshun Jones of Jacksonville, Fla

Our program definitely has the attention of the FLA kids right now

CB Kendall Sheffield will also announce at the Under Armour game on Jan 2
b/w aggy, Bama and FSU.

A lot of Sheffield to FSU chatter recently.

Sheffield is one of the more overrated players I can recall. I would take Boyd and Hill over Sheffield any day of the week. Armanti Foreman abused him last year.

We finish with Davis, Irvin, Boyd and Hill. And that's a helluva haul for a DB class. Maybe our best ever.

Isnt aggy still the heavy favorite for Sheffield despite last weeks events?
Much like the Malik recruitment I don't think anybody really knows. Sheffield is even more closed off/private than Malik when it comes to releasing info about his recruitment. It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at A&M, FSU or Bama. I think A&M not having a DC has to be a factor though.

Yeah, if you look at Bama's numbers, they probably dont have room

And, if you believe the FSU people, they are running 3rd for Sheffield

Thus aggy by default

Sheffield to aggie wouldn't be bad news for the Horns. From what I've read A&M is only taking one more DB so that means Boyd would most likely be heading to Texas. I've heard that A&M is recruiting Boyd as an athlete now, but they still like him in the secondary.

The fact that A&M started recruiting Boyd again tells me they aren't confident with Sheffield.

I've been told that aggy offered Boyd the opportunity to play on both sides of the ball. He's intrigued. But at the same time, aggy is late to the party and IMO, they can't overcome all the groundwork Texas has put in. Aggy went so long without offering. Additionally, I would think Strong would be fine with giving Boyd some chances on the other side of the ball, KOs, too.

I'm going to go over these as some of it doesn't seem to be realistic.

For instance, Wheeler has not visited and doesn't plan to and is about to announce soon. Little chance of anything good there happening for Texas.

Mack, on the other hand, likely won't announce until NSD or at the end of his Texas visit, which he says he intends to take. So IMO, Mack is a higher percentage for Texas than Wheeler ever will be now.

Warren is about 95%

Clarrington is about 105%

Davis is about 75%

Newsome is about 90%

Redwine is about right at 20%

Hill and Boyd are a little higher at 75% (boyd was ready to commit to us today before postponing)

Hoggins, not sure the numbers will work for him.

I'm going to change my percentage on Davis from 75% to 99.99%.

I expect him to announce for Texas on Jan. 1 and then Clarrington comes aboard two days later.

I want to feel just as confident on Tim Irvin. I would call him at about 75%-80%. I hear Davis is recruiting him for Texas.

Davis would be a great get for the horns. Could be as good of a defensive back class as I've ever seen. But what else would you expect from DBU

Yeah, I'm thinking out of the Florida boys Gilbert Johnson and Devonaire Clarington are pretty much Longhorns already (I will be shocked if they go anywhere else). I was a little bit hesitant on picking Davis and Irvin to Texas. I've always felt like those 2 were headed to Texas but not quite as solid as Clarington and Johnson.

After tonight's update from 247 I'm pretty sure Davis is headed to Texas. Davis was asked if he's doing any recruiting for the school he's already picked and his response, "Well me and.....I ain't going to say anything." None of the Florida boys have really been recruited by Florida State except for Davis. Maybe Davis was referring to other recruits, but I'm pretty sure he knew if he said Clarington or Irvin he would have given away where they were going.
