Connor Lanfear of Hays HS. Good prospect, but I am honestly not sure this is a "Wickline" type OL.

He's been a huge Horns fan growing up. He's stood strong against the Ags in his family. I think his commitment is strong.

Different OC/OL coach with different evaluation. Not sure the feeling is mutual. Same thing with the Garza kid.

He's a good solid tackle prospect and a Central Texas boy to boot. I think he could do well under Wickline. But JW will be going where the talent is for the future. His line at OSU was mostly Texas and Okie boys (about evenly split) but he also had several from Missouri and Miss. He's already pulled one out of La. in the last week. Other than the Studdard/Senlein legacies, I don't recall any front-line OL guys from OOS playing for UT in the entire Mack era. We definitely need a pipeline into La.

They definitely seem like they are trying to create a few pipelines all over the nation. Im at least liking the recruiting efforts being made for the 14 and 15 class.

I don't care if it's Texas are a%m it's sad when a family puts pressure on a kid to go to the school of there choosing not the player. They are not the one that is going to spend the next 4 years playing football at a collage they did not want to go to. Parents should choose to let the young kids go and the collage he picks. I can't remember the player but he was a TE and he wanted to go to Texas. His father said no way will his kid go to Texas. If my son will not attend a%m he will not go to Texas. So the young man chose to attend Miami instead of going to a collage he did not want to attend. My friends y'all have a great week.

His mom just commented how happy she is that he got the A&M offer. It will be interesting to see if his heart is with the Horns or if the family push sends him to the ags

Johnny didn't you hear? you're not allowed to post anything about aggie recruiting.. LOL

Per his mother he is still committed to the horns but has not met with any of the new staff. He has been offered by the ags, Baylor, and visit invites from Florida,, Miami, Texas Tech, and a few others
