Ugh BB, I don't like it man. STL essentially gave up a mid-late (around #18-26) 1st rounder for Cam Chancellor. It get's worse if you don't pick up the conditional 3rd rounder in 2015, this basically converts to a top 10 pick for Cam. While he is awesome, he makes 7 mil a year as a Strong Safety. Considering you guys already have a very solid SS in McDonald, I would have pushed for E.T. or at least additional picks to even this out. Just my opinion.

It's lopsided but I like Chancellor as a Free. I think he'd play Free for Seattle if Thomas wasn't so gifted. I've cemented the Defensive Backfield with McDonald and Chancellor. I've still got two first round selections that I can use for my other major problem areas. It's not the ideal trade but it fills a problem area without costing me a draft pick. Keep in mind, I pick at 13 too.

True BB plus this draft is relatively weak at safety so your options were not great to fill that need in the draft. Chancellor as a FS though?! Im not sure he produces his 2013 stats

Make no mistake, BruiseLee won that trade. Even I know that. I just feel like anybody I took at #2 was going to be overvalued unless I took an OL. I like HaHa and Calvin but two was too high. And I didn't like the prospect of trading down from 13. I do think Chancellor can do very well at Free Safety. But if he doesn't equal his stats, I've got a 2015 3rd Round Pick coming.

Wow wild start to the draft. If anyone wants to jump in front of Oakland PM me. At least 2 of the 3 top QB's will be available.

Can we have 2 hrs between picks? The anticipation is too much.

Should we update the top post to note who is on the clock and when their 4 hour window runs out? Might be easier to keep track of that way if it's at the top. Like right now I know it's Jax's pick but I have no idea when their window closes. Considering the 2nd pick was made at 11:10 AM, I would assume that Jax should have their pick in by 3:10 pm today. Is that right?

BTW, thanks Bevo Blake for organizing and your hard work keeping up with trades and picks and our whining. ;)

I wish but I think so far it's been a struggle with four hours. We'll see how things shape up around the 2nd Round.

I've decided that in good conscious, I can't vacate picks for people who can't get here on time. Sometimes life gets in the way. Thus, if somebody misses their pick, we'll move on but they can come back later and select any player that is still on the board. No loading picks though, somebody can't opt to miss two picks just so they can take three in a row later.

Haha thanks. I'm doing my best. That Original Post is so ridiculously loaded with code that I get nervous I'm going to mess something up every time I update it.

With all of that said, it's now four hours past the last pick and the Houston Texans are on the clock.

Good call.

With the 4th Overall Pick in the 2014 Draft, the Houston Texans select:

Position: OT

Name: Greg Robinson

School: Auburn

I know your thinking I'd take a QB here but I just dont see a cant miss prospect. The right side of the O-line for the Texans has been a mess for longer than the QB's.

Robinson is in my opinion a cant miss OT that we can start out on the right side of the line and move him over to the left after Duane Brown retires/moves on.

And at 6-5 320 and running a 4.98 40 the Texans just cant pass up this kind of talent.

Houston needs to hurry if they want Bridgewater. lol That would be a coup.

Edit: Nevermind!
