2014-15 NBA season

i actually live downtown houston. TC is upheld as one of the better arena's throughout the NBA. i only wish that they enhance / renovate the fading exterior...
It was dark and raining when we arrived, so I didn't get to assess much of the exterior other than the red lighting wrap around feature. Enjoyed the game atmosphere and the visit to Houston. I'm from the Austin area and haven't been to Houston much recently; how old is the arena?

Last night (Tuesday)

Avery Bradley had 18 points for the Celtics

KD scored 27 for the Thunder

Lamarcus Aldridge had 39 and 11 for the Blazers

What could have been had these guys stayed on campus more than one or two seasons. I guess it has worked out for Bradley, always thought he jumped too early. Could have been spectacular at UT with another year or two.

The Legend of Sauce Castillo

http://www.complex.com/sports/2015/03/nik-stauskas-kings-sg-sauce-castillo-nickname

There are some NBA players who spend years—hi, Kevin Durant!—trying to come up with a good nickname for themselves. And even when they land on something they like—hi, Kobe Bryant!—those nicknames aren't always universally loved. So with that in mind, it's pretty amazing to see how Nik Stauskas went from just another random rookie in the league to a household name in a matter of 24 hours thanks to, of all things, a closed captioning glitch.

During the 76ers/Kings game in Sacramento earlier this week, Stauskas was mentioned by the broadcasting team covering the game. So whoever is in charge of writing captions for those watching at home, typed his name in. Er, at least, they tried to type his name. But instead of "NIK STAUSKAS," this is what popped up:

And just like that, the nickname "Sauce Castillo" was born.

Initially, Stauskas had no idea what it meant when people started telling him about it. So he took to Twitter to ask his followers what the hell everyone was talking about:

The modern NBA

In a very dirty play, Chris Paul grabbed Chris Kaman in the package and squeezed hard

So, Kaman shoved Paul to the ground, then quickly began to head back down the court

Big Daddy Glen Davis then rushed over to defend Paul's honor

How did he do that?

As soon as someone got in his way, he flopped!

The Clippers are tough to like
