Obviously staff and recruiting but Daje and Overstreet. . .

Daje is potentially huge. . .Overstreet not as much. . .

Curious if they have landed a "mulligan" or Charlie uses them to "send a message"..

Of course I have no idea why either was suspended for the bowl so that becomes a factor too. . .

I think grades were the issue for Daje. If so, unless he straightens up, he could be gone

Overstreet was grades too. Someone from his family tweeted that he messed up and working to correct the study habits.

Overstreet needs to put on twenty pounds of muscle and be our verson of Todd Gurley II. Their frames are identical.

Daje doesn't attend class and has quite possibly flunked out. Might be no decision to make. Overstreet just fails to study and therefore also has grade issues. Both might be beyond help at this point.

It was grades with both.

The thing is, we dont know what will happen with Jalen if he is able to be part of the team again. The days of not getting talent on the field are over, and he is a guy who could play at a ton of spots.

Regarding Daje, he might not make it back. I stand by my statement yesterday that Duke Catalon MUST be signed, because he is probably going to play in 2014.

I hope these young men figure out what they have done....I believe they can get it done. HOOK'EM

Can Warrick provide us some of what Daje brought and did he shirt or did he burn a year in '13?

Daje is an excellent talent, but he does not seem to get it. It's a shame to see all that talent go to waste, but if he does not care enough to handle his business, I can't be too concerned about him. Still if Texas lands either Scott Frost or the OC from tOSU (I forget his name) I am sure they would be in favor of having Daje's versatile skill set, IF he is eligible.

Jalen, if he can get the grades may have to move to QB just for the sake of having 3 on the roster for Spring ball. That would stink because it's clear that he is a hell of an ath, he could easily be a very good rb, I could also see him playing SS w his speed and explosiveness.

I think more freshmen may be provided with the opportunity to play next year than initially expected, one of which is Jerrod, I would like to see him shirted, but I am not sure. He is spread ready, and I believe him to be a better passer at this point than Swoopes. His skill set most closely resembles Braxton Miller, one hell of a runner, and can get the job done w him arm by taking advantage of single coverage on the outside.

Strong's graduation rate is high... saw numbers of something like 82 our of 88. Can't remember where I saw that.

Maybe it's for the number of potential seniors over x-years.

I hope Brian Davis is fired sooner than later. Daje and Overstreet both need to be accountable for their grades but this has happened too often in the MB tenure. What does Davis actually do?

Agreed. I'm almost as concerned about RB as QB. If Daje continues being Daje, and Gray takes a while to rehab, we have no change of pace back.

Is Catalon more of a power back?

6ft, around 205 now. Hes not the banger Bergeron is, but he'll get in this weight program and end up around 220. Just a solid all around running back.

Daje is a problem child within a capital P. Think Ramonce Taylor Clone. Strong has no control over him at all
