The first strike call on Tinney was the exact same pitch the ump called a ball that should have been a strike on the Miss St batter. Make that call and Harrison would have been out of the first inning. By chance, is this the same ump that called the ball that was a strike at aggy in the first that led to their big inning?

I would need to look up the box scores to see if same ump crew. There's something wrong when everyone, but the home ump thinks it's a strike.

Now, per SEC rules the umps get a report from a ball/strike tracker that let's them know whether a ball was a strike or vice versa after every series. Along with getting a review and grade from other crews, coaches, and SEC home office.

One can only hope these guys get better.

That last "called strike", was that a makeup call? I'm glad the ump called a strike but it looked low and outside to me, but his call counts, not mine!

TBH, one could say it was a makeup call, but I'm fine with the call.
I do question if the Miss St coach makes that big of a deal if the game was on SEC or SEC+ network instead of ESPN.

I don't like the TV announcers we had this weekend. The weird amount of liking Miss St was crazy.

Let's win Tuesday night against UTSA 1st, then go to fake ut next weekend.

We have only lost 1 conference series this year so far. We just haven't been able to sweep as many as last year.
