The University has come out with a new rules that prohibit any one with coming with detectable lens. I guess I was out shooting the "Official" Shooters.

So, I have decided to take in more High School games, which resulted in getting some info..

This young man Andrew McInvale was on campus a few weeks ago and I was able to see him twice in the last two weeks.

Was able to see current Longhorn Commit Sophomore Austin McNicholas of Akins High School. Was able to see him last summer during the select season. He appears bigger and had two singles against a very good RHP from Lake Travis Grant Schneider(Arizona State signee)

Was also able to see Current Longhorn Commit RHP Sophomore pitcher Mason Thompson of Round Rock..But, by the time I go out to Round Rock..lighting was not the best..

Also, saw Longhorn Signee RHP Connor Mayes of Lake Travis..

I will update this thread as the spring season continues to roll on..

I have a game that I am shooting next Friday and then a DH on Saturday..

Thought I would update this as I ahve seen quite a few high school games in the last 4-6 weeks.. Especially since Texas High School baseball playoffs are in the 4th week..

This is Joe Davis, catcher from Bowie High School, great kid, underatnds the game from behind the plate, what pitches to call and when..

A friend said the word he'd use for McNicholas is "smooth" - at the plate, in the field...everything he does is very relaxed & fluid. Especially for his age.

djb-- do you know if they are they going to offer mcingvale?  i know the kids parents pretty well.

I saw him play last summer and with in 6-8 months he looks bigger, and more fluid...

A detachable lens is a lens that come apart from the main body of the camera. New rule went into affect this season.. So, they have cut me out..

i'm confused.  why in the world would they care what lenses a photographer has?  is it the papparazzi effect of invading privacy or something like that?  i guess i could start to see the issue if it were something like that.
