Crossfire ETA?

When should we expect Crossfire to come out today?
Crossfire is likely going to be delayed until later this evening or early tomorrow morning.  McPhaul called and said he will update the board as soon as he gets back to a computer later this evening.

Lot of stuff going on today.  If Crossfire gets put off a while, all the better. More time to refine and add more content.  More time to cogitate today's proceedings.  I for one, am happy to be patient.  I have had enough news for one day.  As for the rest of you, well you can just go with me to Texas! ... and wait until Crossfire presents itself to us again.  I dare say that you shall not be disappointed!  ;)

I apologize, I kept McPhaul out all day and would have had him home sooner if I'd known he was in the middle of a Crossfire.

Before you start throwing things at me, McP and I had a "Dazed and Confused" day as we pounded the pavement in many of his old stomping grounds in West and NW Austin.

We ate at County Line BBQ so he may have copped a nap when I dropped him off. LOL

Smells like Bud Lights by the truckload to me SHA.

West and Northwest Austin is my old stomping grounds as well.  I grew up in the Brykerwoods area.

Yea, I think McP is waiting on someone to call in on something he was really wanting to include in the CF. Have no idea if that call has come in yet but I think he mentioned it in passing yesterday.

Doc - Isn't that where all those felonies happened about 45 years ago?

Crossfire should be interesting.  Darrell has had 3 or 4 scoops  in the last couple of months.  I just saw on 247 that they are just now announcing that Patterson is trying to line up Mexico.  Darrell announced that the first of last week.

Keep it going, Darrell.

LOL - Yep, but it was longer than 45 years ago.

Now you've triggered a true story from me - speaking of felonies.

There used to be a drug store on the corner of Jefferson and W. 35th.  It had everything in it, including camping equipment.  Anyway, I was about 12 and me and some of the neighborhood hoodlums used to go to that store and read comic books and every now an then we would steal the ones we liked.  This turned into a contest to see who could steal the biggest item.  I had a storage shed behind my garage and that is where we would stash our loot.  There were mixers, dishware, pots and pans, etc., etc. in that shed.  I'm proud to say that I won the stealing contest as I walked out of the drugstore with a canoe.

You know the rest of the story, my dad found the stuff and did the WTF thing on me and I, while blubbering, told him everything and ratted on my friends to boot.  He calls my friends dads, has them over and we loaded up a full pickup truck with the contraband and off to the store we went.  There was one astonished store manager when he saw how much we had taken.  Long story short, we spend the rest of the summer doing free labor for that store - after all of us had our butts busted by our dads (those sort of things were done in those days and they were very effective, I might add).

So you weren't far off about the felonies and that little incident ended my life of crime forever.
