Any Soccer Fans On Here?

soccer?  SOCCER? Seriously - that shin kicking game?  Games that can end a 0 - 0 tie?  A foreigners game?  Can Cricket be far behind?

I sat next to a guy at a dinner party in SF who played club soccer at UT and was named Mike. He is AA. No way that was you, is there?

Yes, we had a great time. Once we started talking UT stuff, the other people starting getting jealous and kept trying to change the topic. I even remember that the lead dish was pumpkin soup, which looked burnt orange. We were, of course, convinced she did that just for us. It was destiny.

I'm a fan of US World Cup and I've been considering getting into watching International Soccer. I just have no clue as to the seasons and championships and who to watch/cheer for.

Anyone on here watch that stuff? If so, give me some tips to get started.

I enjoy watching EPL games on Fox Soccer.

Played club soccer at UT, have played since age five. Saw all of the World Cup games in Dallas in 1994, awesome experience! Saw Spain, Brazil, holland, Germany, Argentina, Bulgaria, South Korea, Sweden, and Nigeria at the cup. Awesome international fans! Coaching two youth teams currently.

I was there for Brazil vs Netherlands.
