Whomever becomes Oklahoma's next offensive coordinator will be the fifth coach to hold that position during Venable's head-coaching tenure following Jeff Lebby, Joe Jon Finley, Seth Littrell and Arbuckle.

The remaining games on the Sooners' schedule are against No. 25 Florida, No. 12 Ole Miss, Texas A&M and No. 19 Missouri.
