Am I correct that G.J. Kinne was a Longhorn QB signee?

Correct. Dominant at Canton in HS. His dad got shot in a crazy story. He moved to Gilmer and dominated there. Redshirt at Texas in 2007 but was low on the depth chart. Transferred to play with Gus Malzahn and Tulsa. Spent a few years in the nfl bouncing around practice squads and has quickly risen as a bright offensive coach.

In fairness, they were Southwest Texas State University and Division II before changing to Texas State University and upgrading to Division I. I mean no disrespect to the university. I received my M.B.A at the Round Rock campus in 2013.
