Depends on number of years. DeBoer will win more than dumbo did. Dumbo started sucking about the same time he lost a generational QB. Oops…

But to Bamas credit they didn’t hire a guy coming off a 5-6 record.

DeBoer is a much better coach than Jimbo. He has won everywhere he’s been and done so without the scandal and baggage that followed Jimbo around.
I think he will do well. He’s no Saban but there is only one GOAT.

As a head coach Deboer has never had a losing record in any season. Three NAIA championships. Alabama might miss a step but he will have them competing right away. BTW Milroe got much better as the season progressed.

one of the bad thing about college or pro football, teams still hire the same people even is they have a track record of not producing championships or consistently good programs....In this case I think Washington has a fast exit pulled on them and they just grasped at a coach who can at least make them competitive, but their ex coach has shown he is using coaching stints to get him to the next job. I guess we will see if he is ready for the big time after one great year
