We sent a contingent of BMDs to talk Sterling into coming to Texas. His hesitancy was about job security at some point at Texas. Lo and behold, he was in and out of here in one year. That was tough and I hated that it happened.
All true, but he ended up with a nice bag of money, and considering the situation I wouldn't think his job prospects were harmed too much, since nobody could realistically blame him for not being able to instantly turn things around.

FYI, this is the son of Steve Stutsman, the former all-state TE from Daingerfield back in the early/mid 80s. Stutsman was a freshman when I was a senior, but I remember him well. That guy was driven. He went to Baylor.
