Sorry Eastexhorn, but you need to take a step back and look at things again. The composite average is always better than a single service's rating. 247 and On3 have changed their criteria this year, they rate on potential and not scouting/film, that has skewed some players from 3* to high 4* and 4*'s to 3* in a way that makes you scratch your head. There's no need for the wailing and gnashing of teeth... yet.

I see things just fine On3 and 24/7 have no 3* on thier list of recruits.Go to 24/7 site and look at team ranking click to list of players . Counr 3* and you should count 12. That all I have mainly been saying. On3 only uses 17 players in thier team rankingso go figue

Bottom line on recruiting the choises are Sark's and staff Its his job on the line. Sofor IMO he has done a good job of evaluating abd singing HS recruits the last two years. First year was a mixed bag.

Also IMO he has not done as good in portal choices.

The portal successes on the current roster:
Quinn Ewers
Kielan Robinson
Adonai Mitchell
Jalin Catalon
Gavin Holmes
Ryan Sanborn
Ryan Watts
Trill Carter

All 2023 transfers in have been productive.
The 2022 class brought in 2 year starters Ewers and Watts. 1 year player Diamonte Tucker Dorsey and busts in Jahlell billinglsey and Agiye Hall. Tarique milton was a depth guy and Neyor would have made a big difference if not for injuries.

Can you drop the portal narrative. Texas is a big beneficiary of the transfer portal.

He mentioned Billingsly and Hall as busts, called Tucker-Dorsey a "one year player." None of them were included in his list which he entitled "PORTAL SUCCESSES"

One thing to add to the comment RB Keilen Robinson being a back that you can find anywhere. He has been a special teams standout since he has been here, and his kick return to set up our last TD today was crucial to the win.

lol, Why can't Georgia come up with a QB? Their offense is on par with half the country right now.

Clemson MIGHT become bowl eligible this year. But the country has largely dismissed them this year.

Bama was beaten at home by double digits by a team loaded with what you guys say are 3-stars.

This deserved much more thought prior to posting than what you gave it.

Go look at every football national champion the last 20 years and then go look at their roster ranking. Data is clear. No team outside the top 15 roster ranking has ever won it all. Having a top roster ranking does not guarantee you a championship or a good season bit without you have zero chance.

Also Georgia has won back to back national championships for a reason. Oh and they still haven't lost this year. Their roster has been ranked top 3 for the last few years.

So progress is being made.

It was difficult to watch our secondary get carved up last couple of games. That has got to improve or we won’t be in top 10 much longer.

Very true but how long did it take for Ga to pass Bama? Seems some believe that because "We are Texas" we should have already passed all the other programs that have been performing better than us on the field for the last 10-plus years. Not to mention the crap show that started with the hiring of Patterson.

I was wrong on K.Robinson forgot his special team work. Him returning kicks keeps Worthy from being hurt doing that.

On Georgia 4-3 years then they were not as bad as Texas was.

Georgia lol. Those five stars gave up 28 points to Vanderbilt's 2 and 3 stars. lol They've been talking all season about how Georgia doesn't deserve to be #1 because they are obviously not the team they used to be.
