Hey brother! Hope you and fam are good. Yea been very busy but this win made my year. We needed a win like this. Wife is sulking but I’m basking in this for sureDMAC!!! Good to see you post brother!![]()
ONE game at a time, there are some teams and fan bases that need their*****kicked one last timeNow, let's beat the hell out of ou. and Baylor, tech, and all those other inbred heathen big 12 schools.
You would think they would be celebrating their victory....Sorry guys. According to texags, we are losing to ou and tech.
LOL.
Nebraska fans and Tom Osborne had that same feeling when we joined the Big 12. I think Yoggi Berra said it best, it’s deja vu all over again.Does anyone else suspect that Bama fans (and Saban) are starting to feel like this iteration of their dynasty is starting to slip away with Texas joining the SEC and NIL in play now? I have a feeling that thought is starting to seep into their heads.
Looked like defense rotated players all night, Catalon did lead the team in tackles last night.I didn’t see Catalon late in the game… did I miss something?
I sure hope Wyoming does run stunts because OU will so the more practice they get dealing with it the better!I said a week ago one to watch is the offensive line play against Alabama. I said Alabama is not going to run stunts like our offensive line has had trouble with and Rice ran effectively. Alabama isn’t going to stunt. They try to physically manhandle you and I thought that played better for our guys. Our guys played physical and kept Quinn on his feet. I haven’t seen Wyoming except a little bit of that Tech game but I would expect them to see what Rice did and try to do that. Use quickness and stunts to try to get Texas confused and create some lanes. I hope we respond. It’s just two different ways of trying to get after the QB.
Turnover difference was key. We got two interceptions to no turnovers by us. Congrats to Ewers and the team for no turnovers. Huge difference. My hope before the game was for our guys to bully Bama at home. They rushed for two more yards than we did, they gave up 5 sacks to our 0.
We won the battle of the Big Uglies and that’s HUGE!!!
Ewer’s was a stud tonight.
Horns Up!!!
With Kirby winning 2 natties and now both Dumbo and Sark beating him, it is likely. Saban isn't getting any younger. He really messed up with O'Brian.Does anyone else suspect that Bama fans (and Saban) are starting to feel like this iteration of their dynasty is starting to slip away with Texas joining the SEC and NIL in play now? I have a feeling that thought is starting to seep into their heads.
Very true. Apparently Saban has his offense and defense and coordinators are expected to adopt and manage it. That's a very good approach for player continuity, but has a downside. Sark practiced against that D for two years and, of course, ran the offense. He knows Saban's style inside and out and knows exactly what it takes to beat it. Congrats to him and the other coaches for smart game plan and to the team for executing it.I think keeping the same staff (mostly) for all 3 seasons helps the players tremendously since they're not learning new systems year in and year out like we have for the past 10 years.
On the long TD pass 2 Johntay Cook was in saw that on a highlight just now.I know after the Rice game it was a big stat that Texas had 30 freshman play. Does anyone know how many played during the bama game? I know Baxter and Muhammad played but do not remember many other players.
