*****GAME THREAD: #11 TEXAS LONGHORNS vs. #3 ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE*****

Great game!   Although Alabama doesn’t look as good with the new young QB, it’s very impressive to beat them at home by double digits.  Defense looks improved for the most part besides giving up some big plays in the 4th.  Anthony Hill is going be a star.

Wife is a little pissed we beat her alma mater but I loved it

Hookem
DMAC!!! Good to see you post brother! 🤘🏿

I wish there was a way for me to listen to Austin sports talk on Monday morning
Sports radio?

Just hop over to inside texas and listen to their podcasts. They will cover this game from all angles with some real useful insights.

In his postgame interview, Sark said it was Bama's shading coverage to XW in the second half that opened up the passing game to the other receivers. Last week's game featuring XW was no coincidence. Sark plays chess.

thats one of the things I miss about living in Austin, back in the late 90s it was all local sports talk with Bucky and Aaron, then the syndicated shows Rome-Kornheiser-Sports Pig all took over

Hey, you can still listen like I wrote above. Rod Babers replaced Bucky on the morning show recently. As much as I love Bucky, Rod is even better. He's as good of a student of the game as anyone and always has insightful analysis.

The IT podcasts are good, too, but The Horn morning show with Rod and Erin is excellent as well as entertaining. You don't have to be in Austin to enjoy it.

I know it too early to tell but this has to have a MAJOR impact on recruiting

I want Sark to put a big, framed poster on the wall behind his desk of Texas beating Alabama for all recruits to see........like Saban has in his office of Bama beating Texas

Does anyone else suspect that Bama fans (and Saban) are starting to feel like this iteration of their dynasty is starting to slip away with Texas joining the SEC and NIL in play now? I have a feeling that thought is starting to seep into their heads.

My hope before the game was for our guys to bully Bama at home. They rushed for two more yards than we did, they gave up 5 sacks to our 0.

We won the battle of the Big Uglies and that’s HUGE!!!

Ewer’s was a stud tonight.

Horns Up!!!
