You'll find no greater respect for Oklahoma State's football team than myself. They are very, very good. However, they took one on the chin to TCU last week so I would imagine the alarms are going off all over that program right now. A 2-loss OSU is not likely to be in the championship game, depending. So their back is against the wall.

So is ours. We sit with the same 1-loss situation.

I think this is a staunch challenge for Sark and staff and also this team. We are not good on the road. But we better get that way fast.

We will have to play our best game of the year to pull off the upset. Better than Bama. Better than OU. And we'll have to do it on the road.

Oklahoma State 36

Texas 31

I actually do feel good about this game. I think Ewers has a bounce back game and as a result, everything else falls into place.

Thats my hunch.

I predicted the score using my common sense as I ignored my hunch.

I cant help but think we got caught with an ou hangover and looking ahead to osu this past Saturday.
You wouldn’t think it possible after 3 straight loses to them but it’s hard to look at their record and still view them as much of a threat. Luckily we avoided disaster.

This week is a whole different story. The cowgirls can’t take another loss and they will be dialed in for us. The good news is they are always dialed in when we play. Very few programs despise us as much as them and Mike “I’m a man” Gundy loathes the longhorns. The better news is we can’t take another loss either and our guys will view this as an opportunity to make a statement.

We show up firing on all cylinders and  further expose their defenses inability to stop the run. Allowing us to cross out the third team on the revenge tour list.

56-28, Horns Up

Hey I am a kool aide slurping homer, but I have real reason for hope.

QB Spencer is likely hurt for this game or at lest limited. I hate that for the young man, but no one felt sorry for us in the same shape.

More important, Central Mich put up 40 or so points on OSU in Stillwater. I look for us to be able to move the ball. If Watts is good to go our maligned defense performs pretty well.

Texas 42

OSU 28

There's a shootout comin', but there's no white horse and Hell isn't comin' with us.

Pokes 45, Texas 35.

Last week was a letdown game and I'm feeling a hangover of sorts.

Our defense is better than theirs.  If our O brings it, we win.  I don’t think Ewers will lose much at Texas.

There will be big plays by both sides but ultimately the run game will shine and we control the game and keep our D rested just enough to get by.

Texas wins a close one 41-34.

I was in the stadium the last time we traveled to stoolwater, it was extremely hostile. Really glad this is not a night game. Going to be a challenge for sure but Bijan has his first Heisman moment with a 200 + yards rushing, Quinn settles into somewhere between ou and ISU level, and our defense makes up for the breakdowns last year with a score of their own.

PS: JWitt has a big game too.

Horns 49 pokes 31.

We have seen our Oline coming together,  Quinn will hopefully be detoxed after eating some rat poison last week. I expect our offense will be firing on all cylinders.

I think the key to the game will be getting more stops on 3rd down and long then we saw against Iowa state. Hopefully Watts will be back and they will be able to get some schematic issues resolved.

I'm going with Texas 45 cowgirls 38.

Texas just leaped from a -4.5 to -6.5 in about 3 hours....did someone on OSU get declared out because that a very significant bump in the betting odds

Their QB Spencer Sanders is questionable and constantly ate our chops over the years.

gundy says he ain’t talking about injuries so we won’t know until game time.

Yea, discussion about sanders being out or limited. Didn’t practice much last week and Gundy said that was his mistake telling a reporter than 20 min before last game and won’t happen again

If Sanders doesn’t play, we shouldn’t lose.
Their secondary is suspect, I’m thinking Quinn will light them up.
