2023 Recruiting Board/Thread

Important to keep in mind the plan is for Wisner to be the second RB in this class.

Owens remains the primary target.
We got Baxter on board and Rb that came to campus from Kansas think. Yea realize gonna take 2 but he had been leaning toward gooners.

Baxter and Owens won't go to the same school, but it's still nice for Texas to be seen in Baxter's Top 5.

Obviously this is a different conversation in the fall if you don't land Owens, but a package of Owens/Wisner is stout.

IT saying that the coaches will start hitting the road at some point this week to visit high schools across the country and evaluate prospects through the end of May.

I would expect them to have team and individual meetings with UT players first so everyone knows what their future with the team is going into summer.

After those meetings have concluded, the deadline for entering the portal and remaining eligible for the 2022 season is May 1st, so a little action there wouldn't be surprising.

But we also made 5-star Baxter's top 8.

With one of two spots filled, it applies a little pressure to Owens.
