Gotta love a sweep.

Horns now 8-0.  Sam Houston on Tuesday, then the Shriners Classic in Houston next weekend with games against Tennessee, LSU & UCLA.

8-0 and we’ve given up 8 runs in 8 games.  I’ll remember these last 3 in the fall?.

Pitching look good against Bama, hitting was kinda mundane  or maybe Bama pitching good.
22 hits, 9 runs over the series that included some very good pitching, (as well as some very crappy weather in two of those games,) is pretty good.

Over the previous 5 games, 55 hits, 53 runs.  Granted the competition from Alabama is far greater than A&M CC & Rice, but I think hitting is not a concern at this point.  The team has a .294 Avg.  48 BB & 52Ks

The only complaint IMO could possibly be LOB, but that's nitpicking.

Was not counting Rice. Actually jumped gun before 3rd game.

I agree the hitting could have been better against Bama but to their credit, their pitchers were good, their defense was good. It also didn't help that the wind blowing in from the north on Fri/Sat like it was which didn't help any hitter from either team. Good thing is we sweep them, which is always a good thing!
